I am, officially, not a fan of California. Why, you may ask?
That is just ... eggh. Jesus, some people are just ... God fuck it all, you know? I don't really even know what to say. "So much for Harvey Milk?" Seriously!
The California Supreme Court today upheld Proposition 8's ban on same-sex marriage but also ruled that gay couples who wed before the election will continue to be married under state law.
The decision virtually ensures another fight at the ballot box over marriage rights for gays. Gay rights activists say they may ask voters to repeal the marriage ban as early as next year, and opponents have pledged to fight any such effort. Proposition 8 passed with 52% of the vote.

This weekend, I re-watched the three Ocean's films. I have a new obsession: Casey Affleck. Now I feel kind of bad, because I love Casey and Matt Damon, but I'm not big on Casey's older brother, Ben Affleck, who won an Oscar in 1998 for co-writing Good Will Hunting with Damon.
So Casey's not ridiculously hot like Damon, but he's love. Plus, you have to love that rabbit.

HAPPY HARVEY MILK DAY!
It's not official yet, but we should celebrate it anyway! Today, 22 May, would be the 79th birthday of the United Sates' first openly gay elected official Harvey Milk, who rose up against the odds and was San Fancisco City Supervisor from 8 Janruary 1978 until 21 November 1979, when he (along with San Fancisco Mayor George Mascone) was shot and killed by fellow supervisor Dan White.
Academy Award winner Sean Penn, who played Harvey in the 2008 Oscar-winning film Milk (and won the Best Actor Oscar for it), is pushing to have the late politician's birthday be named a day of significance in California; governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, however, vetoed the bill last year. Let's hope it passes this year!
Though I'm not gay, I have several gay friends, some of my teachers are gay, and I definatly think that you should be able to love whomever you want. If you love someone, you love someone! How can we say the human race is superior if we cannot accept one another? Does a dog care if another dog is gay? No! So why should we?

Ah, mes amis! My exams are DONE! Well, my APs. I still have two more (regular maths and history) in two weeks. Anyway! So happy ... :) So there will probably be a more steady stream of stuff in the next bits. In the meantime, gorgeousness, for you to look at.

I have my French, Lit., and Chem AP exams this week. So I'm utterly fucked. Oh, goodie!!! Not.
So probs no graphics this week, until I'm done.
And then the week of 1 - 7 June, none again either because I'll have regular math, history, and art history exams.
And I'm completely stressed. I've wanted to be really bitchy all day, but there's no one around to be bitchy to. Bummer.
